Artist Bio

Allison Yemm is in her final year at University of Wisconsin La Crosse studying Exercise Sport Science and Art. These two studies have included anywhere from anatomy and physics classes to drawing. While creating art, she continuously thinks of biological systems and wave frequencies. Throughout anatomy and physics classes, her mind meanders to flexuous shapes and disorganized colors. As an active swimmer, she spent a large amount of time around or under water. The geometric and ever-changing shapes seen looking up from under water inspired a development of marbling. Her goal is to start Physical Therapy school following graduation in the spring of 2015.
